Over the past twenty years, the environment has become a central objective for both economic and social policies and industrial activity.
The safeguard and respect for the environment is one of the basic objectives that LTE SpA pursues, in line with the policies of the TOYOTA INDUSTRIES CORPORATION Group, to which it belongs.
Today, it is only by organising the entire industry in order to strengthen its own commitment that productive activities can be carried out at increasingly higher levels of territorial compatibility and environmental safety. We will be able to guarantee respect for the environment and a natural starting point for the transformation of the territory, especially with consideration for our geographic position (inside the Po Delta Park).
Therefore, LTE has decided to pursue Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14000) certification, so that the environmental management system adopted by our facility is certified and validated by an external authority and therefore officially recognised.
Certification is of fundamental importance because it is an expression of both the maturity achieved and the validity of an organised, structured and systematic approach to environmental management. Moreover, it represents a guarantee for the populations living near our facilities, and more generally for the overall surrounding territories.
LTE will first and foremost commit to ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and guarantee the continued improvement of its own environmental performance, a necessary condition for sustainable development. LTE also intends to become involved in the prevention of pollution, implementing all possible actions to reduce environmental risk for its own activities, creating the necessary prevention and protection measures, applying monitoring and control systems and an adequate response team for adverse events along with the required training for all of its technical and operational personnel.
