In 2002 Cesab acquired a Corporate Quality Management System, completed after about 18 months of analysis and upgrading of the various company processes.
The Certification of the Quality System, awarded by BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International) under ISO 9001 Vision 2000, now provides full confidence in its effectiveness and allows this to be assured to Customers and Shareholders.
The Performance Indicators established in the Q.M.S. allow monitoring of the various corporate processes in terms of efficacy and efficiency, and identification of the various base lines for setting suitable achievable, measurable improvement targets.

So far, various indicators reveal highly satisfactory improvement trends, confirming the forecasts of the Cesab Quality Improvement Process drawn up at the end of last year.
The logical outcome of improved internal and outgoing quality will be a rise in quality as perceived by the Customer (a reduction in requests for service under warranty received from in the field).
