Hydrostatic transmission

With Direct or Electronic control

Cesab IC Drago models all feature hydrostatic transmissions, with Direct (H version) or Electronic (E version) control to suit either long distance or frequent stop/start operations.

In either case, hydrostatic control makes an internal combustion truck drive like an electric model.

This is a benefit in mixed fleet operations, where drivers will not have to adjust their driving styles when swapping between different trucks.

The main driving characteristics are:

  • Maximum power available at low revolutions number for instant “pick-up”
  • Automatic braking makes driving easier and reduces brake wear.

There is also no need for a lift accelerator with hydrostatic transmission, and all performance characteristics are programmable on the electronic models, as you would expect on an electric truck.

All Cesab IC models feature powerful engines that deliver excellent torque at low engine speeds without compromising emissions or fuel efficiency.
